BrainSpark™ & Brain Fitness

How Do You Change Your Brain To Prepare for Lifetime of Learning?

Brain fitness is built through strengthening Memory, Attention, Processing rate and Sequencing (M-A-P-S).

Memory ability is what allows us to remember, words, facts, grammar, rules and more.

Attention is a gate-keeper to memory in many ways. Attention converts basic sensory signals into something that can have a lasting change in the brain and filters through the massive amount of input the brain receives to decide what is important.

Processing and the speed of processing are critical to how much we can learn. It’s what allows us to see and make sense of sensory input at speed—it’s also necessary for the development of phonemic awareness and reading skills.

Sequencing is how our minds order the images and input from the world that surrounds us; it is core to the development of phonics, fluency, reading and comprehension.
